Wiltshire Festival of Engineering and Manufacturing

Wiltshire UAV Services was invited along to display at the 2017 Wiltshire Festival of Engineering and Manufacturing event held at the Trowbridge Civic Centre on the 3rd November 2017 by Michelle Donelan (MP for the Chippenham constituency in Wiltshire).

The event is aimed at school pupils with the hope to inspire children and help build a strong engineering and manufacturing economy to the local area. Various Schools from the local area were booked in to attend the event and over 4000 pupils attended.

Due to being only invited 2 days prior to the event the team at Wiltshire UAV Services had lots of work to do having never displayed at an event before! After lots of hard work Wiltshire UAV Services managed to get a stand together and it was well accepted by the School pupils. Many interested in how the drone creates lift as well as how they are built.

Wiltshire UAV Services also created many new contacts and some have since booked us in to provide aerial drone services including, aerial photography, aerial survey, drone inspection, aerial mapping and a company show reel.

Due to the success of the event Wiltshire UAV Services is hoping to attend the 2018 event. Thank you to all those who attended.
